This is the main screen. To begin a game, select it from the popup menu located in the upper-right corner, then tap the "new" button in the bottom left corner. When playing Lock Down, a timer will appear in the bottom center panel. When playing Repeater, your level number will appear there. Tap "Help" to read the game rules. |
How to play Repeater
In the game "Repeater", the computer will press a sequence of buttons, and it is your job to repeat the sequence in order. The sequence starts with one button, then grows to 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. Note that buttons can be repeated in the sequence. The game ends when you press an incorrect button. You make it to the high score list by guessing the largest pattern. This is similar to the Simon type games you may have played before.
How to play Lock Down
The game "Lock Down" is played differently. The computer thinks of a random sequence of 9 keys (keys cannot be repeated in this game). You must determine the sequence. If you press a correct key, the key will stick down and you must then select the next key. When you select an incorrect key, all of them will pop back up and you'll need to start over. You make it to the high score list by guessing all 9 digits in the shortest amount of time (this game is timed).
Options
Tapping the Menu silkscreen button will give you some options, including clearing/viewing the high scores, and bringing up a Preferences dialog (which lets you switch between grayscale and black-and-white if you are using a Palm III or later device). It also lets you overlay numbers onto the keys, and toggle the sound.
